I’ve just completed phase 2 of my portfolio redesign. Phase 1 was redesigning the portfolio itself. Phase 2 has been fully integrating Tumblr as my blogging platform.
It’s been a long time in the making but it’s now ready for prime. Im now committed to keeping this blog up to date with my latest progress.
Updates will take the form of: new projects, new photos, life events, and PEDR summaries.
With some time to kill over the summer I’ve just updated my portfolio. The site has been rebuilt from scratch, it’s now a static site compiled with DocPad, hosted on my dedicate server and updated via Git.
All rather nifty bits of tech. I urge you to check them out, read through my humans.txt for a full list.
And of course go look around the fresh design.
Today’s the day of my graduation. I now officially have a degree in architecture. Been there; done that; got the parchment.
I got a phone call today. I wasn’t really expecting it and was a little dumbfounded; RHWL just offered me a placement. After a few minutes stumbling (and uttering “Are you sure?” multiple times) I accepted.
Therefore, starting in September I’ll be working at Ivory House, St Katharine Docks as an Architectural Assistant.
I guess I need to start looking for somewhere to live in London..
Yesterday was my birthday, and coincidentally also the opening night of our Degree Show. I had an absolutely fantastic evening and encourage you to go along and see mine and my peers work!
Architecture Degree Show 2013- opening night 6 - 9 PM on Thursday, 20 June 2013 exhibition continues weekdays until Friday, 5 July 2013
